INTRODUCTION

AIX 2.0 comes with an easy to use, fully integrated offline stats system. The hub of the stats system is the Battlefield 2 Single Player Command Centre or BF2SPCC for short. Esentialy it is a fully featured GUI giving you simple point and click options for launching AIX and the stats systems.

BF2SPCC has many features for single player and coop as well as the ability to save all your favourite online servers for quick and easy direct launch and load for bypassing the bf2 menu system all together, which means you get into the fight quicker than ever!

TROUBLESHOOTING

Being a new application and of course having to deal with every type of pc setup imaginable out there, there are a few troubleshooting tips and advice on quick fixes in a BF2SPCC discussion thread at BFSP. Be sure to visit if you have any issues.

FIRST RUN

On first run, this setup screen will appear.

- The EA profile drop down list will list all the accounts that you have created while playing Battlefield 2 on your machine, both online and offline.

- The Account Type Field will display to you whether or not the selected EA Profile is Offline or Online.

- The EA Username field displays the name associated with the Profile selected.

- EA Password field - Enter your online account's password here
. (this is encrypted and stored locally)

!!IMPORTANT!!
- PID Number - This is your Player ID number as associated with your EA online account. If you do not enter this number, STATS WILL NOT WORK. If you do not know your PID, simply click the BF2s.com link and enter your player name into the search bar. Once you find your profile page, you will see the PID number at the top of the page. Copy your PID into the field above.

Once you have set up your online account, click SAVE. You may now go and setup any other profiles that you want, although it is not mandatory as long as you have one online account set up. Once you have setup the profiles you want, click DONE

NOTE: If at any point you made a mistake in entering any information on the first run page, simply open BF2SPCC and on the welcome page is a FORCE SETUP button. Click it to bring up this first run screen again and then enter the correct information.

Once you have clicked done, BF2SPCC will be minimized in the task bar. Click it to maximize.

SINGLE PLAYER SETTINGS EXPLAINED

The single player window as shown below is capable of starting both single player games and hosting Coop games. it is important to note however, than if you do start a coop server (set up via the Advanced Settings button) then you must be using your online account.

Enabling the recording of stats in your SP or coop game is as simple as clicking the STATS ENABLED checkbox. From here you can launch AIX with the launch button and you will enter the game in the usual way and then be able to start your coop or single player game as you always have in the bf2 menus.

But there is a better way!

Lets go through some of the options that makes BF2SPCC such a powerful little tool by giving you the ability to set up the game exactly the way you like before you even click launch!

MAP LIST SETTINGS

Click the CREATE CUSTOM MAP LIST button and you will be presented with this screen

To set up a list of maps to be played, simply choose the map from the first drop down list, then choose the game mode and then the map size. Then click the Add Map To Map List button. Keep building up your map list this way until you have a map rotation you are happy with and click Done.

Game modes explained
SP1 = the single player 16 sized layer
SP2 = the single player 32 sized layer
SP3 = the single player 64 sized layer
gpm_cq = conquest layers
gpm_tdm = team death match (experimental)
gpm_tkoth = team king of the hill (experimental)
(currently a beta version of tkoth and tdm is available in Operation static)

NOTE: If you want to enjoy the benefits of the bf2 "no vehicles" option to play infantry games, make sure to choose cq game modes as this option is hardcoded to only work with the conquest gamemode by Dice.

Traditionally conquest is a multiplayer only game mode for servers, but thanks to BFSPCC, all you need to do is make sure that the +ai 1 tickbox is checked on the single player window and you can play the conquest game modes with bots!

The beauty of BF2SPCC is that is saves your last settings so the next time you start BF2SPCC your map list will be there waiting for you. A Randomize Map List button has been added so you can quickly mix up your current map list and get a diferent order every time.

STATS ENABLED

Launching stats could not be easier. Simply checkmark this box and BF2SPCC will start recording your scores and ranks just like on the official EA servers!

NOTE: Stats are collated at the end of each map round, so be sure to let the map play out to its end to make sure your points get recorded! Once you have played at least one full round, you will be able to check your scores by simply clicking on the "Leaderboard" button which will launch a local browser for you to browse your stats.

BF2 LAUNCH OPTIONS - Extra parameters

The extra parameters box is simply the same as the extra commands you can normally type into your shortcut properties such as custom screen resolutions and the like. We have also included a Screen Modes checkbox that allows you to launch with specific resolutions in Widescreen, normal 4:3 resolutions and windowed modes without have to type them in.

ADVANCED SETTINGS

From here you can set up your single player or coop game with ease while having full control over every setting in the game. most of these are self explanatory and don't require full explanations. We do however recommend you set your bot Difficulty to 7 or higher for a challenging experience in AIX 2.0.

As mentioned earlier, if you decide to enable to "No Vehicles" option here, you must be sure to select gpm_cq maps in your map list for it to work.

MULTIPLAYER SETTINGS EXPLAINED

The multiplayer window is a simple interface designed to allow you to add your favourite servers and easily quick launch directly into those servers. Its as simple as clicking the Add Hosts buton which will present this screen below -

Add a description of the server and fill in the Server IP and port. Then click Add Host and you are done.
You can remove the host at any time with the Remove Host button. Once you have clicked Done, the server will appear in the "Pick Server" drop down box in the multiplayer window.

From here you are also able to set your preferred screen resolution with the Screen Mode drop down box and then launch directly into your favourite server with the Launch AIX button :)
